Georgian Bay

My first cottage experience was with a wonderful group of friends that I have been fortunate to have been introduced to via my cousin!

On a Friday afternoon that was definitely not ‘driving weather’ (according to the less adventurous locals), we took off on our three-hour journey North-West of Toronto. The snow was constant and I was a very happy camper!

We stayed in a cottage in Wiarton, which is on Georgian Bay.

I almost cried when we arrived. The snow was so crisp and fresh – the wooden cabin was absolutely gorgeous and nothing like I had ever seen before. The cottage was via an Air BnB and was in great condition. It was also extremely big – the cottage could comfortably sleep 14 people!
