I started my Tuesday morning with a brisk walk through Hyde Park, occasionally stopping to take photos of the local squirrels. The morning was chilly, but not as cold as Monday. Hyde Park was beautiful and loads of people were out and about. I stopped at Marble Arch to take some more photos and be a typical tourist, then visited a store called Primark which numerous people have told me about. It was incredible. Clothing is of the same standard as that at Target or Kmart, but there is so much variety. It’s no Chanel, but it was great!
After my short shopping stint I caught the tube to Euston Square to visit Shavi Rankar on Drummond Street as recommended by Felix. The food was fantastic and just like Govindas but with a much greater selection!
I had dinner at an Indian restaurant a few doors down from my hotel and then had a few drinks at the local pub. It was trivia night which made the atmosphere that much more entertaining! The rain is set in now and I know now why it is so irritating – it’s usually very light drizzle and whilst a brollie is useful, it can be such a hindrance in a city so densely populated!
