This morning I caught a streetcar (tram) to the A-Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Museum.
I found it to be a very solemn experience. The Peace Memorial Park is so beautiful, which makes it is difficult to fathom what occurred there only a few decades ago. l saw the A-Bomb Dome and the museum (which took up quite a few hours), but it had started to rain and I felt quite emotional, so felt it was time to move on.
I did some shopping ‘downtown’ and spent the remainder of the afternoon resting.
